Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

EverLull is built to need almost nothing from you. Every sound is generated on your own device, so your listening never leaves it. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we do and don't collect.

The short version. No tracking cookies. No selling data. No account needed to use the free app. Audio is synthesized locally — we never record or transmit what you listen to. If you subscribe to Plus, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card; we only keep what's needed to know your subscription is active.

01Who we are

EverLull (“we”, “us”) is a sleep and focus sound studio operated by Lamar Brown, 7219 Amigo Ave, California. For any privacy question, reach us at privacy@everlull.com.

This policy covers the EverLull website and app at everlull.com and our mobile apps.

02What we collect

We designed EverLull so that using it collects as little as possible:

03Stored on your device

EverLull uses your browser's local storage — not cookies — to remember your preferences. This data lives only on your device and is never sent to us:

You can clear all of it any time by clearing your browser's site data for everlull.com. Doing so removes your saved mixes and preferences.

04Payments & Plus

If you subscribe to EverLull Plus, payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

To keep your subscription working, we store a minimal record linked to your Stripe customer ID: your email address, subscription status (trial, active, canceled), plan, and renewal date. We use this only to give you the access you paid for and to handle renewals, cancellations, and support.

Stripe's own handling of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

05Analytics

We keep a privacy-friendly, anonymous count of which sounds are popular, so we know what to build more of. When enabled, the app records only a sound identifier and the date — for example, “rain, 2026-07-11.” It contains no cookies, no IP addresses, no device identifiers, and nothing that could identify you or link plays together into a session.

We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising or cross-site tracking network.

06Third parties

EverLull is deliberately light on third parties. The ones we do rely on:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Because we hold so little — essentially your subscription record if you're a Plus member — these requests are simple for us to honor.

To make a request, email privacy@everlull.com. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

08Children

EverLull is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Parents may, of course, play EverLull's sounds for a child — the app itself collects nothing to do so.

09Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, note it in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
